We are looking for an individual with a technical background to manage and develop existing and new customers in the Michigan area and to provide technical support to other staff members in our Northville, Michigan office on an as needed basis.
Develop and maintain a good customer relationships across all disciplines (Purchasing/Engineering/Quality/Manufacturing) to create a positive company image and enhance our opportunities to secure new business.
Work closely with the customers engineering/purchasing groups to identify new business opportunities and to assist them with new product development.
Provide technical assistance to other staff members as required via technical presentations, technical reviews, plant visits, etc.
Monitor market and industry conditions and trends to identify opportunities for growth and threats to the company's existing business.
Assist in the development of quotations by providing market intelligence on competing technologies and competitive advantages/disadvantages.
Provide support on new product launch activities including all APQP and development activities.
A Bachelor's degree in Engineering
A minimum of 5 years experience in automotive technical sales
A minimum of 5 years experience in engineering in a powder metal company or ten years experience in the powder metal industry.
